Terms of service

The service

Mawjud answers your shop’s customers on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger using the products, prices and delivery information you give it, takes their orders, and shows them in your dashboard. You can switch it on or off for each platform and reply to any customer yourself at any time.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate information.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us straight away at mawjud.ai.lb@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it.

The Free plan and payment

• Every new shop starts on the Free plan, which has no time limit and needs no card. It includes a set number of conversations and products each month, and some features only come with a paid plan.
• Paid plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price we give you before you pay. When a shop reaches its plan’s monthly conversations, Mawjud keeps answering the ones already under way and hands new ones to you, until the next month or until you move to a bigger plan. Extra conversations are not sold separately.
• If a payment is not made, Mawjud keeps answering for three more days and then stops until the account is paid.
• You can cancel at any time. Mawjud keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
• We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you.

Your responsibilities

• You are the seller. You are responsible for your products, prices, stock, deliveries, refunds and following the laws that apply to your shop.
• Keep your catalog accurate. Mawjud answers from what you entered, so a wrong price there can become a wrong answer to a customer.
• Follow the rules of WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Do not use Mawjud to send spam, to sell anything illegal, or to mislead people.
• You confirm you have the right to use the content you upload, such as product photos.

What AI can and cannot do

Mawjud uses AI to write replies. It is built to answer only from your catalog and to hand the conversation to you when it is unsure, but like any AI it can still make mistakes. Check orders before you fulfil them. Mawjud never claims to be a person.

Your content

Your products, photos and conversations remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Mawjud for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Our website, cookies and advertising

Our public pages, sign-up, sign-in and the one-time welcome page after you set up your shop use cookies, including Meta’s advertising cookies, to measure and improve our own ads, as our privacy policy explains under “Cookies and advertising”. Where the law requires it, we ask before any of them are set; everywhere else you can turn them off at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. None of this applies inside the dashboard or to your shop’s customers.

Platforms we depend on

Mawjud works through WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and other services we do not control. If one of them changes its rules, has an outage, or restricts your account, Mawjud may stop working on it, and we cannot be responsible for that.

Suspension and closing

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other people at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first.

Limits on our responsibility

We work hard to keep Mawjud reliable, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will never be interrupted or never make a mistake. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost sales, lost profits or indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell you by email or in the dashboard before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Mawjud after that, you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut decide any dispute.
